If you vist the 2010 Parade of Homes in New Albany, be sure to pay close attention to the Tuckerman Home Group home. T. David Collection has several items in this home chosen by Michael McKibben, decorator. A beautiful antique marble top table sets the tone in the entry way. Other accessories include a stunning ceramic Tang style horse on the cocktail table, and wicker items in the children's room. So fun to see the merchandise in this setting, and Micheal does a fabulous job of putting it all together. I hear the home is already sold! Enjoy!

Lamps do well in the shop, and these new ones are quite unique and good looking.

Here are the new lamps...each interesting......one with wrap shade, one with patterned shade......The tassel style is a pair, very nice and heavy.

Several new lamps in the shop...stop in and check them out, and maybe have dinner at Lindeys or G. Michaels during restaurant week, this week (great specials at good prices). July is almost half over....wow!

Guess the dog days are here early..in the mid 90's here, but of course the air is on in the shop.... it's nice and cool, and selected items are 25% off.

When painting, especially in a small space think about a monochromatic look--painting trim, walls and ceiling the same color. Suprisingly details still show up, and the space will take on a more modern look, even larger. Then add pops of color or one color in accessories to bring it all together and add personality. Taupes and neutrals for the walls and your favorite accent colors for the accessories...even change them seasonally to keep it interesting and new. A touch of black is always a nice addition as well.

There will be a few pieces from the shop in the Parade of Homes in New Albany in July. I have never done a home before, but am working with Michael Mckibbon, designer of one of the homes, who has chosen some things to use. The wonderful Victorian marble top table will be featured in the entry.
