Without spending a lot, you can achieve that new look by sprucing up what you have, maybe rearranging things, and purchasing a new lamp, pillow, piece of art, some barware...or a piece of furniture. I am here to help you do just that.....come in and see what may be the answer to your fall decorating...and still have money left for dinner and a new outfit!

If you vist the 2010 Parade of Homes in New Albany, be sure to pay close attention to the Tuckerman Home Group home. T. David Collection has several items in this home chosen by Michael McKibben, decorator. A beautiful antique marble top table sets the tone in the entry way. Other accessories include a stunning ceramic Tang style horse on the cocktail table, and wicker items in the children's room. So fun to see the merchandise in this setting, and Micheal does a fabulous job of putting it all together. I hear the home is already sold! Enjoy!

Guess the dog days are here early..in the mid 90's here, but of course the air is on in the shop.... it's nice and cool, and selected items are 25% off.
When painting, especially in a small space think about a monochromatic look--painting trim, walls and ceiling the same color. Suprisingly details still show up, and the space will take on a more modern look, even larger. Then add pops of color or one color in accessories to bring it all together and add personality. Taupes and neutrals for the walls and your favorite accent colors for the accessories...even change them seasonally to keep it interesting and new. A touch of black is always a nice addition as well.

A new accent piece in a room can give a whole new look....perhaps a new lamp, or a grouping of decanters on a tray, or something more unexpected like a grouping of small mirrors instead of one large wall piece. Without spending much at all the room is refreshed, and your spirits are lifted. Even just rearranging some furniture pieces can give new life to an old room. The shop is full of items to inspire the imagination and creativity of the novice home decorator...and I'm always willing to share my thoughts and ideas too...for added inspiration.

Sold one of my favorite pieces yesterday...a small English chest that is perfect beside a chair. It is going to New Hampshire. I guess it was love at first site for the customer. It was (is) a beautiful little piece. There are not many people out shopping today. I am continuing to get things ready for upcoming sale at the end of the month. Stop in and say HI!

Just getting started with this blog, and hoping to have it visible to those who search. The shop is filled with many unique and wonderful antique furniture pieces, a variety of lamps, mirrors, and lots of accessories that complete a room decor or make great gifts!
There are some pieces of Fostoria glass and ruby flash in the shop, imari, rose medallion, and silver plate....and many new table top items.
This weekend I attended a new antique show in Columbus at the Bridgewater Banquet and Conference Center. It was a very well put together show, with vendors from many states. This particular one was a benefit for hospice. Then I went to several shops in the Powell area to see what was going on in that part of town. All in all a busy weekend in Columbus with the Arts Festival downtown, Murfield Tournament in Dublin, and Gallery Hop in Short North. Columbus can be very exciting!
Today is a day at home to catch up there, and back to the shop tomorrow, Tuesday. Hope to see you in the shop very soon....remember the Haus and Garten Tour is coming up the last Sunday in June, and T.David is planning a sale in honor of the 51st year of the tour. Details to come!!
