David Collection has a "martini" tree..complete with glasses, Grey Goose vodka and many other bar items.....also 2 $25 gift certificates to the store!!! Tree value is $300. This could be an answer to many Christmas gifts...or just fun for yourself, and the money goes to help the new theater renovation at the Garden Theater. Weekend , Hop, Upcoming

The weekend was not the best, nor was gallery hop....because of rain storms during the evening. Thanks to those who came in and supported the shop as well as the short north. Next month the shop will feature local jewelry artist Teresa Morbitzer (Vintage Vamp). Her jewelry is a combination of vintage and new pieces wonderfully designed into one of a kind pieces...from casual to dressy....many color choices! I look forward to her setting up in the store as my "visiting artist." She is super! Have a chair and ottoman at the upholstery shop....can't wait to see the finished product! Hope you stop in this week.

Lamps, Lamps, Lamps!!!

Lamps are still probably the number one seller in the shop. There are so many unique and interesting ones...and of course, affordable!! Today several more found new homes. This black mesh one sold today....so interesting, hate to see it go.
The tan has a great shade, and is still available, and the very heavy tassle lamp (a pair of them) is great for a bedroom. COME SEE!!

Decanters are hot items!!!

Selling lots of decanters...a great look on a tray in a grouping...and so many to choose from. Also getting in some special things for the Garden Market (Mother's Day weekend) in German Village. I have done this annual event since the shop opened 6 years ago. The preparty is Friday, the market is Saturday before Mother's Day.....nice vendors and exceptional plants!

NEW STORE!!

New look, New logo....exciting

THE SHOP IS NOW OPEN IN THE SHORT NORTH

The shop re-opened Saturday, March 12. It was a beautiful sunny day and many people were out walking and came in. It is exciting to be in a more urban setting. After 6 weeks of preparing the space and getting things changed and 'tweeked' the outcome feels really good! YAY!

OPENING SOON

Things are coming together--and the shop should be open soon...hopefully this weekend...March 12. Can't wait for all to see!!

Whew...has been a while since a post, but am busy painting and getting the new space ready! Things are coming along. Wonderful new logo and business cards too!!! Some great new items to see coming in March.

MOVING...

Things went well with the move! Almost everyting is in the new space now. Lots of work ahead, but will be great when it's done.

Moving Day

8:30 AM the crew arrives to transport the furniture and fixturing to the new space! New business cards have been designed with a new and exciting logo...as appears on the blog. Next comes painting, organizing, and planning. Stay tuned.

Things are moving right along for the shop relocation. Most of the accessories have been packaged and moved already. The furniture will be taken on January 26th. The excitement builds as the new space starts to transform into our new home. Hopefully you will stay in touch until we reopen, around March 1. Phone number is the same...614 542-4300.
